Light-weight but extremely stiff and strong. The arrangement of the two base profiles plus the deep position of the boss housing confer to this machine the necessary stiffness and great stability for twisting flat and square bars. The four nut screws help to easily and perfectly center all work pieces. Due to the open and trough going design of the boss housing, work pieces can be also twisted in sections. To twist extra long bars, the extension unit can be placed and fixed nearly in any distance to the basic tool – if necessary also on another sturdy work bench. Baskets are produced by using the included basket twisting attachment – although no motor is used, we achieve a stable output of between 60 to 80 basket / hour! Even with a motor driven basket twisting tool this productivity can be hardly achieved – a motor driven machine must return to its zero point to restart……and this needs time….to return to the zero point with our manually operated MT3 is so much faster!
