 Basic Information

   6-Benzylaminopurine is a plant growth promoter, is the first applied synthetic cytokinin, mainly

used as a broad- spectrum plant growth regulator. It can be used in agriculture, horticulture,

for plants at different stages, from germination to harvest.

• Melting point: 230-233ºC
• Description: White crystal powder, slight soluble in water, soluble in ethanol and acid solutions.

 Application 

• Promote cell division and cell growth; 
• Induce lateral bud emergence( for example: apple tree, pear tree); 
• Promote basal shoot formation ( for example: roses, orchids); 
• Promote flowering ( for example: cyclamen, cacti);
• Promote fruit set ( for example: grapes, oranges, melons).
• Keep green and retard aging ( for example: Cabbage, cauliflower, etc)
• Increase the germination rate (for example: wheat, rice, corn, etc)
• Quick seedling emergence, seedling healthy (for example: cotton, potato)
• When used with gibberellins, fruit's shape can be improved.
