7. Stability: Stable in aqueous solutions having pH <5. At higher pH,

decomposition occurs with the liberation of ethylene.

The pure product should be white arras crystal, fish-smelled. It has strong ability in moisture absorption. It's easy to be dissolved in water and it is stable in medium, which is neutral or acid. It's one kind of low-poisonous plant growth regulator.
