the active ingredient of which is Citrus Flavonoids. Flavonoids (or bioflavonoids)(flavus = yellow),

 

 

 

also collectively known as Vitamin P and citrin, are a class of plant secondary metabolites or yellow pigments having a structure similar to that of flavone.

 

 

 

Flavonoids (both flavonols and flavanols) are most commonly known for their antioxidant activity in vitro.

 

 

 

The antioxidant abilities of flavonoids in vitro are higher than those in vitamin C and E.
