Product detail:
Professional aerial bundled cable manufacturer supply overhead abc cable
1 Description
For single core PVC or XLPE insulated or covered aerial cable without messenger or neutral conductor, the phase conductor may be AAC or AAAC or ACSR or Copper.
For more than one core PVC or XLPE insulated overhead abc cable with or without messenger or neutral conductor and with or without street lighting conductor, the phase conductor and street lighting conductor are AAC with PVC insulation, and the messenger or neutral conductor is AAAC or ACSR with or without PVC(XLPE) insulation.
2 Operating Characteristics
Rated voltage: Up to and including 0.6/1(1.2)kV;
Max. permissible continuous operating temperature of conductor: 90oC(XLPE insulated), 70 oC (PE insulated), 70 oC (PVC insulated);
Max. temperature of overhead abc cable during short-circuit ( 5s max. duration) shall not exceed: 250oC(XLPE insulated), 130 oC (PE insulated), 160 oC (PVC insulated);
The ambient temperature under installation should not be lower than: -20 oC.
The bending radius of cable is recommended as following:
When the diameter of cable is less than 25mm: not less than 4 times of the diameter of cable
When the diameter of overhead abc cable is not less than 25mm: not less than 6 times of the diameter of cable
When the cable is used in alternative current system, the rated voltage of cable should be at least equal to the rated voltage of system; when the cable is used in direct current system, the rated voltage of system should not greater than 1.5 times of the rated voltage of overhead abc cable .
3 Application
PVC or XLPE insulated aerial cable as a new-type aerial cable is used for overhead electric power transmission, extensively used in rebuilding of overhead abc cable and forest region electrified wire netting. It improves the safety and reliance of electrified wire netting. overhead abc cable
