Introduction

 

316 stainless steel, 18Cr-12Ni-2.5Mo because adding Mo, so the corrosion resistance, weather resistance and high temperature strength in particular, in the harshness of the conditions of use; hardening excellent (non-magnetic).

 

Corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel, in pulp and paper production process has good resistance to corrosion. And 316 stainless steel is also resistant to aggressive industrial marine and atmospheric erosion.

Welding 316 stainless steel has good weldability. All standard welding methods can be used for welding. Welding according to the application, were used 316Cb, 316L stainless steel or 309Cb filler rod or electrode welding. For optimum corrosion resistance, stainless steel welding section 316 require post-weld annealing. If you use 316L stainless steel, does not require post-weld annealing
