Product detail:Our rubberwood comes from North Sumatra which is also known as Hevea brasiliensis. Rubberwood plantation are known for their economical value and widely planted.
Once the trees reached approximate age of 5-6 years old, natural latex can be extracted. The collection of latex is on going until the trees reached approximately 20-25 years of age where they are not economical anymore.
Therefore they are being harvested and new trees are planted to replace the old ones. They are then used for our woodworking operations.
PT. BIA produces Rubberwood FJLB:
- A grade; Top face clear, bottom face accepts minor defects.
- Kaidan components; Nidan mawari, Sandan mawari, and Yondan mawari
- A/B grade: 1 Face clear
- Wrapping grade
