It boasts a white,porcelain-like dial, framed by a hinged-top door and composed ofcrotch-figured veneers in a sunburst pattern. The dial includes blackRoman numerals with black hour, minute, and second hands. The neck isframed by two carvings with a delicate leaf design.
Thepolished brass lyre pendulum and weight shells are visible behind thearched beveled-glass door. This door is made with complementingslip-matched crotch-figured veneers. Book-matched figured crotchveneers are used in the inset panel on the tall base, which includes adecorative shell and leaf overlay and a carved gadroon design moldingthat wraps around the base.
This lovely clock features acable-driven, triple-chime Kieninger movement with automatic nighttimechime shut-off option. Adjustable levelers under each corner of theclock ensure stability on uneven and carpeted floors, while the lockingdoor offers added security. You will also receive a free heirloomplate, engraved with name and date, by returning the enclosed requestcard to Howard Miller.
