Borneo brown rice is unmilled or partly milled rice, a kind of whole grain. It has a mild nutty flavor, is chewier than white rice, and far more nutritious. Borneo brown rice is planted on the terraced hillslopes of Sabah, Malaysia by the indigenous Dusun people using traditional farming methods without the use of chemicals and mineral fertilisers.
