Product detail:
Tang Yuan or glutinous rice balls means “round dumplings in sweet soup”. It is a Chinese snack often eaten during Winter solstice, which usually falls on the 21st or 22nd of December; or any auspicious family celebrations like weddings. The round and sticky dumpling balls symbolise family closeness and togetherness. Our glutinous rice balls are with fillings like red bean, peanut butter and black sesame.
Make sure you boil your sweet ginger soup first. When it is boiling, remove the glutinous rice balls from our packing (no need to defrost) and put into the boiling soup.
Once ready, the balls will float and it is ready to be served.
