The top is slightly domed with the characteristic subtle curve of Jeremy Simpson's designs giving it a wonderful shape. The decorative veneers are perfectly matched on the top and on all sides. Locks, hinges, screw heads and fittings - made from solid brass are all polished and gold-plated. This - and all Jeremy Simpson boxes - is made with an astonishing attention to detail.
