Acacia Wood Carving - Rice Gatherer
The Ifugao indigenous people of Northern Luzon measure a persons wealth by number of rice granaries they have. The majority of the wood carvings are about their culture.
The wood carving is created from a single piece of acacia wood.
The overall height of the sculpture is 27cm.
The intergal base on which the sculpture stands at the widest point is 8.1cm and tapers to 5cm.
The back to front measurement is 9cm
