CZs Career Mode will take the player through a series of 18 progressively more difficult matches along side (and against) Artificial Intelligence-controlled bots. The player must win two out of three matches to advance, earning points to upgrade their squad while unlocking new missions. Career mode can be played on one of four difficulty settings, designed for new, intermediate, expert, and veteran Counter-Strike players. Initially, the player will have limited teammates, items and weapons available for use, but as he or she progresses up the ladder, they will earn access to increasingly sophisticated resources. The maps used in this mode will be a combination of enhanced classic Counter-Strike maps, along with completely new ones.
