Leaders from the Association of Southeast Asian Nations have arrived in Brunei’s capital, Bandar Seri Begawan, for a two-day summit.

They are expected to discuss regional issues such as the South China Sea territorial dispute and the latest threats from the DPRK. The summit will also set the agenda for ASEAN meetings later this year.

ASEAN was formed in 1967. It now has ten member states and is one of the fastest growing economic regions in the world.
