In 1997 two friends faizal and ian bookout, started a tiny furniture company in the city of semarang, indonesia. They built their business on a simple philosophy: Treat everyone as a friend and give them real value for their dollar. Since those humble beginnings, antique-gracia has grown to become their first marketing tool. In 1999, a basic informational website was launched to provide more detail about antique-gracia products, policies and commitment to serving their customers as friends. The national response to that initial website was overwhelming. Emails and phone calls came in from all over the world by people who were interested in buying quality furniture from indonesia.
