In August 2011, partners Darius Abainza and Santanina Verzosa started a business that would bring healthy and authentic regional processed meat delicacies like sausages to the Metro Manila market. These were initially sold at Quezon City Bazaars, Hotels, and Restaurants. In 2012, this business venture was named Chop House. As Chophouse grew, the partners wanted to ensure the sustainability of the meat quality being used for the sausages so that the partners decided to also supply quality agricultural inputs to the farms where the sausages are sourced.
Lionshare Co. Ltd. was born from this venture. The primary purpose of this partnership is to trade agricultural inputs and supplies to farms and feedmills, while the secondary purpose is to market processed meat delicacies, which are the end products of the farms where the agricultural inputs were supplied. Therefore, Lionshare Co. Ltd. would be involved in all growth aspects of its farm clientele from production till marketing. |
