Harper Wira Sdn Bhd is a by product of a century old trading business started in
1867 by 3 enterprising Britons Samual Gilfillan, William Adamson and H.W Wood. Known as Gilfillan, Wood and Co. This company was later expended by a
merger in 1886 with A.C Harper & Co which created a group known as Harper Gilfillan.
and spread its wings from its original base in Singapore to Malaysia and Brunei.
The group diversified its businesses to include shipping and forwarding and in 1962 ,
under the new name of Harper Wira Sdn Bhd with the involvement of the
Malaysian Armed Forced Corporative .
