R&D Team in Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM)

Our company, Fuciphagus Agritech Sdn Bhd (FASB) has embarked on a R&D program in collaboration with scientists from University Science Malaysia (USM) in Jan 2012, and leading by Chief Scientist with more than 30 years experience in pharmaceutical industry. Among the major aims and objectives of the research collaboration activities are, to develop a comprehensive program for cleaning and producing high quality EBN products that can meet import export requirement, to develop scientific tools for fingerprinting & authentication EBN and its products, to scientifically study the health benefit of EBN & to develop downstream nutraceutical & cosmeceutical products from EBN products.

To carry out all these research activities, the Company has set up a research laboratory in University Science Malaysia and also secured the help of an experienced researcher and other scientists from the University. More research personnel’s will be recruited to complement the research team.

This research collaboration is indeed a new milestone for the company. Proper and credible scientific evidence/data obtained from the research collaboration, together with modern downstream cosmeceutical and nutraceutical products will certainly help to create new business opportunities for EBN industry.
