Describtion of planetry milling machine
4L planetary ball milling machine has four ball grinding tanks installed on one turnplate.
When the turnplate rotates, the tank axis makes planetary movements and the balls in
the tanks grinds and mixes samples in high speed movement. The product can smash
and blend various products of different materials and granularity with dry or wet methods.
Minimum granularity of grinded products can be as small as 0.1 micron (i.e.) 1.0×10-4mm)
It is widely used in the fields of Geology, Mining, Metallurgy, Electronics, Construction Material,
Ceramics, Chemical Engineering, Light Industry Medicine, Environmental Protection etc.

E.g. One of our USA customer want to grind 1kg alumina powder for one batch a time. He asks how to choose planetary ball mill and its accessory.
Answers:
. For the machine volume:
Alumina density: 3.9 g/cm3
Volume = Mass / Density = 1 / 3.9 =0.39
Cos the grinding material covers 1/3 of the mill pot volume, mill balls cover 1/3 of the mill pot volume, and the left 1/3 for grinding space. So the mill pot volume : 3 * 0.39 = 1.17 L So we suggest 1L volume machine.
