10kV XLPE Insulated Aerial Cable
1 Description
XLPE insulated or covered aerial cable without or with conductor screen, the phase conductor may be AAC or AAAC or ACSR or Copper.
2 Operating Characteristics
Operating voltage: 10kV
Max. permissible continuous operating temperature of conductor with XLPE insulation: 90°C
Max. temperature of conductor during short-circuit (5s max. duration) shall not exceed: 250°C
The ambient temperature under installation should not be lower than: -20°C
The bending radius of cable is recommended as following:
Single core cable: not less than 20 times of the diameter of cable
Multi-core cable: not less than 15 times of the diameter of cable
3 Application
10kV XLPE insulated aerial cable as a new-type aerial cable is used for overhead electric power transmission and distribution, extensively used in rebuilding of urban and forest region electrified wire netting. It improves the safety and reliance of electrified wire netting.
