TECHNOLOGY BENCHMARK :
Most of the available cosmetic facial mask products in the market now are using non-woven fabrics and other non-organics fabric as the base material. This non-woven fabric is non-organic material and non-biodegradable as they are made from P.P. materials (Polypropylene Homopolymer).
Nata de coco facial mask is made of mostly from cellulose fibres formed during fermentation process and water. This is an organic material and it involves the process of fermentation of microbes that will finally turn into cellulose fibres to form the nata de coco sheets.
The nano scale fibres conform perfectly to the skin’s surface resulting in superior dermal contact. In addition, nata de coco in its natural state contains high percentage of water and this will act as a natural moisturizer for the skin and proven to have a deeper penetration and assist absorbance of skin nutrition.
Nutrients penetrate into every layer of the stratum corneum far more effectively when compared to using a non-woven masks (non-organic) or lotion only. Moreover, the micro-cellulose fibres also proven to provide a cooling sensation for a relaxing facial treatments.
