Mayang tea which is planted at an altitude of around 200-800 feet above mean sea level is considered a lowland tea. The tea is generally brisk with good colour and fair strength. It is a very high quality pure and natural tea with no additives, flavouring or colouring and is second to none in comparisons to the popular teas sold in Malaysia. The popularity of Mayang tea is evident in Sarawak as it is used in most 5-star and other hotels, restaurants, fast food outlets and coffee shops.

Mayang tea is sold in teabags, loose tea leaves packets and catering packs. The teabags are packed in 100, 50, 25 and sachets. 100 teabags in 20 plastic packets is also available. Tea leaves are packed in 500gm, 250gm, 100gm and 50gm. The Catering Packs are packed in 4kg pail, 10kg pail, 15kg pail, 5kg and 1kg paper box. Plastic Catering Pack of 4kg pails, 10kg pails, 15kg pails, 5kg Teh Tarik and 1kg catering pack. Other types of packaging are also done to suit the request/requirement of our customers, and, they include 500gm packets of Army and School Rations packed into 24 packets carton boxes; 100 teabags printed logo(eg. for Damai Lagoons Resort, A & W Restaurant and others).
Teabags are mostly sold at supermarket/departmental stores, Hotels and Fast food outlets. They are also most popular in urban and town areas.
Loose Tea Leaves are sold mainly through departmental stores and retail grocery shops, or sold to ration contractors for supply to both government sectors and private corporations. Mayang Loose tea leaves of 500gm packs have also been used and well-accepted without complaint by schools and armed forces camps who are the consumers/end-users of the tea.
Catering Packs are sold mainly to coffee shops, food centres, restaurants/eateries, hotels and hawker stalls.
The quality of Mayang tea products is also very suitable for use in government institution as it is a locally grown tea which is pure and natural without any additives or artificial flavouring and colouring.
