Brief Introduction of Liquid RTV2 Silicone for Molding 

Liquid RTV2 Silicone is a two component material,and the silicone consist of Part A base silicone and Part B curing agent.When the two parts mix together and pour or brush on a object,the silicone base and curing agent can cure to be a silicone mold at room temperature;and 24 hours later,the silicone mold can be released from the object,and then the silicone mold can be poured into the following material to copy: plaster,polyurethane, PU, GRC, cement, resin, polyester, wax etc...

Liquid RTV2 Silicone can be used in the duplication of cement molds, concrete stones, artificial stones, plaster molding, figures, art objects, decoration molding, GRC products, gypsum products, resin products, PU molds. Etc.

Storage of Liquid RTV2 Silicone for Molding  

When the silicone rubber is stored at or below 30 °C (85 °F) in the original unopened containers, RTV2 Silicone Base and CA30 Curing agent have a usable life of 12 months from the date of production. After 12 months, please use a stirring mill to stir the Part A silicone for some minutes, then the silicone can be use again, without any influence to the characteristics.

Why does the RTV liquid silicone rubber for molding have few mold making times?

 The silicone rubber mold has few molding times is due to follwoing reasons: adding too much silicone oil which will destroy the molecular of silicone rubber; making the mold for small and fine detailed products with higher hardness silicone rubber which is easy to break; making the mold for large products with soft silicone rubber which will reduce the tensile and tear strength of the mold, and the mold will have deformation. Thus, we should take the proper silicone rubber to make the mold for suitable products
