The procedure for the South African shipment is tabulated below.
1) The Seller will be sending the offer which need to be confirmed by the buyer and the confirmation message need to be received within validity period.
2) Upon receiving the confirmation we will send the standard Indonesian contract (more similar to standard coal trading contract (SCOTO terms which is used for trading South African,Australian Newcastle specification).
3) The contract condition need to be negotiated and signed within three working days from the confirmation date
4) Once the contract is signed L/C should be opened atleast 15 days before the vessels first laycan date.
5) Upon receiving the confirmed L/C we will update the buyer with vessel nominated for performing the business which need to be accepted by the buyer side
6) Upon receiving the confirmation from the buyer for nominated vessel, the vessel updates will be provided time to time.
7) We will provide ETA at discharge port 5,3,24 hours
8) Upon Nor Tender laytime starts after 12 hours Even if used,
9) If the documents are not ready by the time vessel reaches the discharge port, buyer have to give us bank endorsed Letter of Indeminity for discharge of cargo
10) Cargo delivery only against original b/l.
11) The documents will be negotiated and the documents will be exchanged through banks against L/C.
12) Documents will be(invoice, full set of b/l,cert of quality issued by SABS,cert of weight by SGS, certificate of origin,draught survey report)
13) Demurrage/despatch settlement invoice will be issued 30 days from discharge
