High alumina brick have very good ability of anti-acidity, anti-metal fluid corrode and anti-oxidation.
High alumina brick are used normally in industry furnaces such as blast furnace, hot-blast furnace and eaf etc.
For high alumina brick the thermal shock resistance is mainly decided by chemical contents and its mineral microstructure but its thermal shock resistant is worse than the fireclay brick.
