1.What does Core Spun Yarn mean?
A yarn in which a base yarn is completely wrapped by a second yarn.
Rawr Denim explains Core Spun Yarn
Core spun, or “poly core”, yarn is created by twisting staple fibers around a central filament core, usually made of polyester for extra strength.
It is 40% to 50% stronger than normally spun yarn of the same weight, and reduces the number of broken stitches when sewing seams and hems on denim.

Diagram of core spun yarn:
Our staple fibers is 38MM,it is come from Japan toray brand .
Our long fiber have 50D,75D,100D etc.All oftension strengtht are over 8 gram per denier
2. This core contributes to:
- Higher strength per size (higher tenacity)
- Greater uniformity in size, strength and other physical characteristics•
- A higher initial modulus or resistance to stretching contributing to better loop formation and reduced seam puckering.
- Better ply security – fewer unravel type thread breaks
- Superior abrasion resistance & durability
3.The application of core spun yarn:
- Use for thread factory
- Use for book binding
- Use for cotton qulited products.
4. The dyeing process(core spun yarn VS spun polyster yarn)
The Poly wrapper contributes to :
o Superior color fastness, chemical and abrasion resistance
o Higher strength than cotton wrapped core spun threads
o Superior “union dyeing” because of one-step dyeing process
