What are NFC tags ?
NFC (near field communication) is a wireless technology which allows for the transfer of data such as text or numbers between two NFC enabled devices. NFC tags, for example stickers or wristbands, contain small microchips with little aerials which can store a small amount of information for transfer to another NFC device, such as a mobile phone.
I used NFC most frequently at home by my bed and in the car. At home I configured my NFC tag to set the alarm, put my phone on vibrate, disable screen rotation and enable my screen dimmer application—all at the same time. In the car my tag disabled Wi-FI, enabled mobile data and GPS, and launched Google Maps and Google Play Music. For the most part the automation made things easier, but there were some circumstances where doing the task manually proved to be easier.
It is widely used in Cashless/ Contactless Payment, Short Range Access Control, Mobile Devices Startup,Event Ticketing, Smart Poster, Vcard and Call Request ect.
