Galvanized steel pipe generally takes three forms: pre-galvanized, hot-dipped, cold-dipped. Pre-galvanized steel pipe is always referred to the pipe which is made of galvanized steel coils and welded type. 
The pipes which are given the galvanization treatment can be called hot-dipped galvanized steel pipe or cold-dipped galvanized steel pipe. Generally hot –dipped galvanized steel pipe is the best choice among the three types due to the thick zinc coating.

Galvanized steel pipe is generally connected by threads on either end of a length of pipe. A small amount of adhesive is typically placed on the threads before screwing them together, in order to reinforce the connection. If no threads are available, the pipes and fittings can be welded together.

Galvanized steel pipe can be round tubular steel pipe, square hollow section pipe, rectangular hollow section pipe, oval-shaped steel pipe etc. And mostly the price for seamless galvanized steel pipe is higher than that of welded galvanized steel pipe.
