BW Yee Seng Hardware Trading Sdn. Bhd. began its business in early 2002 as a family-owned private limited company. The Company initially started as a trading house for buying, selling and rental of scaffolding assembly and supply mainly to hardware retailers and contractors. Over the years the Company business grew by leaps and bounds.
In 2009, the Company embarked on a people-oriented Management Transformation Program (MTP) where professional staff was recruited to lead the Company into a market-driven people-oriented organization to meet global business challenges. From the traditional trading-house business practice, the Company transformed into manufacturing and assembly.
Today, we have manufacturing facilities set up in Selangor (Klang), Johore (Senai), Kelantan (Kota Bharu), Pahang (Mentakab), Sabah (Kota Kinabalu & Sandakan) and Sarawak (Kuching & Bintulu). As the Company expanded aggressively, we introduce new products into our business structure which include metal roofing, multi-truss, corrugated sheets, C-Purlins and racking systems to serve the building & construction industry, logistics and warehousing, hospitals, hypermarkets, MNCs and etc. The Company has now 10 branches and subsidiary-companies throughout the Peninsular Malaysia, Sabah and Sarawak region, and is expanding into overseas markets. We started receiving orders for our latest racking system product from our overseas customers since last year and had started shipping to them.
Our Company has invested over MYR40 (USD13.5) million in plant and equipment for our manufacturing facilities to-date, and the Group plans to invest another MYR30 (USD10) million for new product lines and upgrading of existing facilities in the next 2 - 3 years to cater for overseas markets.
Our Company signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with USM (School of Housing, Building and Planning), Penang in December 2011 to synergize each other for business network and conduct joint-research program on quality steel building materials for the building and construction industry.
Today our Group annual revenue is over MYR300 (USD100) million and employed over 300 employees.
