Chia Jiann Furniture Co., Ltd. was established in 1975. In the beginning, the main products of our company were Italian iron tube leather chairs. 14 years ago, we found in business investigations that Indonesia was about abundant in forest resources and famous for delicate hand carving technology, so we decided to establish a factory in Jepara, Indonesia to produce classical antique carving furniture.
After 14 years of continuous improvements, now we are able to carry out integrated operation from selection, purchase, cutting and drying of timbers, preparation of machines and materials for production, assembly, paint spraying and coating and packing to delivery. In addition we have expanded the range of our products from single classical furniture for living room to a complete series of furniture for dining rooms, bedrooms, study room and furniture for the special purposes (for hotel, restaurant etc.)
Below is the complete process of our integrated operation :
1. Purchasing Log, all logs are purchased under legal approval of our government, sorted at the place of origin and send to our factory for storage.
2. Timber cutting, we have our own sawmill, they cut the timber into different sizes according to customers' need.
3. Kiln drying. we have 6 large steam boiling kiln dry chambers, and 3 small electric drying chambers. Their daily capacity is 300m3 in total. They are able to dry timers for different water content (NC) depending on the variation in weather of different countries. It is to improve the stability and quality of the products.
4. Warehouses, the 2500m2 warehouse are available for storage of finished products up to 500m3. We also have a warehouse for seasoning wet timbers.
5. Machineries and Material. We have 8 large generators to supply electric power to all machines. we facilitate our factory with automatic timber cutting machines, moulder, planner, panel saws, heavy duty sanders, lumber composers etc for modernized operation. We will make continuous investment in installing additional machines to meet the demand of the market and provide the good quality product at a reasonable price.
6. Insect Killing, to ensure our product is free from any trouble after export, we import an insecticide from Germany to kill the insect by immersion and sprinkling.
7. Carving, We have several tens of skilled wood carver to do the carving by hand
8. Woodwork assembling, to enhance the structural strength of products, facilitating transportation and packing, and increase the stability of products, our products are assembled and fixed by wedges, screws or glue or in other ways depending on their structural characteristics.
9. Sanding, sanding by hand is necessary for most of the classical furniture because it may increase the carving quality and facilitate paint spraying operation.
10. Paint spraying and coating, we have 12 stream type dust collectors installed at the paint spraying lines. the operation area is divided into classical antique furniture paint spraying and coating zone and modern furniture paint spraying and coating zone. After completion of the final coating, the products will be placed in the drying room for curing.
11. Packing, we adopt 3 layer packing for our products to protect them from any damage. To meet the special need of our customers and for the convenience of transportation, we will also pack our products in different ways. Besides for the purpose of distinction at the time of shipment, we will load a series of products in a same container.
