 new Taihang developed the deep-sea pressure-proof zinc silver battery series in 2011 for National High-tech R&D Program, “Jiaolong” manned submersible. Its main power, auxiliary power, emergency power for life saving are all supplied by deep-sea pressure-proof zinc-sliver battery series with the merits of light-weight and less gas evolution which developed by New Taihang power source. It provided a full range of energy security for Jiaolong 7000 meters of undersea trials and succeeded. It is now the international submersible battery with the largest capacity which is over 110 KWH. 

 China participated in international large export projects and national foreign aid projects, the supporting batteries are mainly Taihang products.  

In the field of railway and rail transit, the cumulative loading batteries in Taihang brand exceed more than 160 million pcs, and New Taihang in 2008 acquired the first high speed train localization battery loading, now have running successfully over more than 500 kilometers. "Beijing subway line 1" loading in the 1960s, since then, it marked that "Taihang" brand battery in metro areas had successfully applied. New Taihang is an unassailable model of industry from its first loading until massive using at present. Tehran metro line 3, 4, 5 are Taihang products, that is Chinese storage battery in the bidding and successfully applied on a large scale in the international market, thereby showed the good quality of the Chinese power supply in foreign markets. 

In the telecom industry and solar/wind system field, Nickel-iron battery’s application is advanced promptly, as its remarkable characteristics: environmentally-friendly energy, long service life, low-cost etc. In domestic market, Nickel-iron battery is replacing lead-acid battery gradually. New Taihang also be supporting manufacturer of Ni-Fe products and technology with domestic electrical equipment exporters. By adopting updated technology, New Taihang make sure to meet costumer’s various operating requirements in severe environment
