Designed to cater to the growing coffee and tea culture and consumption in Asia, Café Asia 2013 boasts
a projection of 150 exhibitors from 10 countries who would display the latest in the world of coffee;
from arabica to robusta flavours as well as the various blends of tea from the highlands of Genting in
Malaysia to the slopes of Kandy in Sri Lanka.
Held concurrently with Café Asia 2013 would be another premiere exhibition, the International Coffee &
Tea (ICT) Industry Expo 2013, which would focus on the upstream sector of the coffee and tea industry.
According to the latest figures provided by the Department of Statistics, the importing of coffee to
Singapore has seen a stable rise between 2008 and 2011, up from $1,082.1 million’s worth of imports to
$1,410.3million’s worth of imports. This is largely due to the increasing demand for coffee and its
products in recent years.
Mr. Edward Liu, Managing Director of Conference & Exhibition Management Services shared “We are
delighted to be partnering EXPORUM and the Singapore Coffee Association for the debut presentation
of both Café Asia 2013 and International Coffee and Tea Industry Expo 2013. The outlook for Asia’s café

good geographical location has enabled her to stand out as the strategic business hub in Asia. Coupled
